Not having access to Fox or Optus I luck out on being able to watch the
GP's. Personally I enjoy listening to the English commentators on some
videos I have seen and I agree with Steve, the girls are great. Regarding
David Tapp and the "mike", he will certainly have to watch the volumes at
Gosford and not get too carried away. The locals will be on the phone to
the office immediately the noise levels irritate them. Believe me.

Subject: RELEGATION TIME!?
Date: Fri, 11 Aug 2000 09:51:04

Hi all!

This is now RELEGATION TIME for some team in the ALL SWEDISH LEAGUE after last
knight´s BIG CRACKER at Karlstad.

Karlstad v GETINGARNA(STOCKHOLM)

   50----------45

This result safe Karlstad left in the society of SPEEDWAY in SWEDEN and STOCKHOLM
have the knife on their back!

Next thursday They have Nassjo away and if They loose there it´s good bye from the ALL SWEDISH LEAGUE!

The winner who did the job for Karlstad on UNFAIR riding was the tjecko, Pavel Ondrasik!

He took Getingarna´s team-mates Per Jansson and Freddie Eriksson (away from the match)
in the same event of heat 11, the first event after the intervall!

The result in the intervall was only 2 point leading for the hometeam and They was shaking!

Heat 11 decide the BATTLE! Ondrasik and Robert Flis(polish) out for the hometeam and
Per Jansson/Freddie Eriksson outing´s for STOCKHOLM.
Flis easy from the gate and He was unbeaten this knight with 18 points from six rides
included a R/R for the oldier "HEATHEN´S"-rider Jonathan "Foreskin" Forsgren.
Second was Per Jansson and He have a hard battle with Ondrasik all the way and just
back from them was Eriksson!
On lap 3, Ondrasik rode inside of Jansson in third and fourth bend, BUT Jansson have
the minimal leading just outside line from Ondrasik. In fourth bend, Ondrasik HIT him
and smashing him all the way on the finishstraight and from the back coming Eriksson
and have NO way to go for so He hit ans smash Jansson´s bike, cause NOT to rode over Jansson!
Jansson Up quickly and running over the centregreen and coming in the pit and screaming
and will have a fight in the pit with the tjecko! All in the pit stop´s Jansson from
it and on the track still Eriksson left on the ground.
After a 5-10 minites the ambulance take him off the track and of course, Ondrasik
was excluded from the re-run. BUT, He have destroyed 2 bikes and one rider from the
meeting´s and should be excluded from the rest of the meeting if the rules have been
right(don´t You think that Mr. rule-man Meynell:)?

Eriksson have a hurt middleplace of the body!

I can´t make anymore of the report in the moment, because I have to do some much work
on My ordinary job right now, so I come back later with more info from this REALLY CRACKER.

I have seen 59 matches already this season and this was a really TOP-10 of them sooooooo.....

MORE LATER,

BASTARD ONDRASIK!

I have just spoken to James' sponsor who has told me that James has broken
his right foot in two places and also broken his ankle when he was seen by
the consultant this morning there was too much swelling to allow a decision
to be made as to if an operation is needed and the doc's are to review the
position again this afternoon, from what I am told , and I wasn't there,
this was an accident which should not have happened, it had a number of
contributory factors which could all have been avoided.

Bye 4 Now

James is to have surgery possibly Monday or Tuesday dependant upon the
swelling. When will this guy get any good luck?

I'm sure nobody over here would mind our commentators being exported!
'Luck Out' is that the new 'in phrase' - it has a certain ring to it.
Definitely not a soap fan, neither Aussie nor English.
