Russ says; "I raced Expert flat track many years ago in the USA, but lack of $ ended that. I was browsing the internet last winter, and discovered speedway. I found a bike for $900 and then did some practice laps at a friend's track. So far, I love speedway because I prefer to ride with the throttle and not the brake."

Russ won his first Division Two event at Paris, (without even completing all his heats!) and will be moving up to Division One at his next event.
