Adam Mittl was the top points scorer after the heats with 11, Dukie Ermolenko and Aaron Hesmer were second with 10, Tuff McBride and Casey Donholt had 9. Gene Bonsignore was leading his last heat when Corey Brookes accidentally ran into him. Bonsignore hit the wall breaking his wrist and ribs. Had he finished in first in that heat there would have been a 3 rider runoff for the last two spots in the A-Final. Brookes also pulled out of the meeting with headaches. The other finals were broken down by points as well. Harmatiuk was leading his first two rides when his chain broke, Gomez had one race where he was in second and broke down, Warren Diem had two seconds and was in third I think when he and Brookes tangled in RD 3 which broke Diems bike.
