Louis Kossuth, it was announced, has retired from racing. A product of California's junior Speedway program, Louis has been a top rider both in Northern and Southern California for well over a decade. The highest of his many achievements was a third in the 1996 US National Championship, behind Steve Lucero and Mike Faria. See the report form Fast Fridays Friday July 3, 1998.
