Gary: "I really got a kick out of this fellow. He was very interesting. He had
raced in the Isle of Man which is a road race lined with stone walls,
like nothing on earth. 41 years old, purple hair, and just about to have
his first speedway race. As it worked out, he didn't get to race, but he
did take a rider's test and he was fast. It will be interesting to see
how he does when he gets to race. I wished him luck in his new speedway
career."
