Charlie "The Edge" Venegas showed everyone why has won more main events in the eight-year history of Industry Speedway by capturing top honors on Fan Appreciation Night.

The former National Champion started in gate two and beat his competitors into turn one. Jimmy "Little Animal" Fishback led the charge behind the leader but Venegas immediately began to put distance between himself and his competitors. He stretched his lead with each successive lap and cruised to victory. Fishback finished second, Austin Novratil was third, "Fast" Eddie Castro finished fourth, and Bobby "Boogaloo" Schwartz was fifth.

The evening began on a sour note as a crash involving Michael Raines in the first heat resulted in the young rider being transported to a local hospital. Fortunately, he was released early the next day after suffering a concussion.

Novratil won the restart of the first heat over Shawn "Mad Dog" McConnell. Venegas began his evening with a win over Jason Ramirez. Schwartz ended round one by defeating Fishback.

Round two began with McConnell collecting his first win by defeating Castro. Fishback beat Venegas in the next heat for his first win. John "Mongoose" Marquez led the last heat of the second round for two laps before Novratil went by and took his second win.

Fishback opened the final round of heats by beating Novratil for his second straight win. McConnell made it two in a row with a victory over Ramirez. Venegas ended the heat races by defeating Aaron Fox for his second win.

Fishback and Novratil finished one-two in the first semi and transferred to the main event. Venegas handily won the second semi while McConnell, who was running second, began to suffer bike problems on the final lap and Castro passed him on the outside to steal the transfer. Schwartz won the Last Chance to fill the final spot in the main event.

Rocco Scopellite trapped the field from the outside at the start and dominated the Second Division Main Event for the second week in a row. Brandon Leedy finished second, Carl Gazafy was third, and Mike Salyer finished fourth.

Kip McClain led from start to finish en route to victory in the Third Division Main Event. Kevin Fife finished second and Rick Howard was third.

Max Ruml ran away with the Youth 250cc Main Event for the second consecutive week with Dillon Ruml finishing second and Nicholas Varner coming in third.

Varner led the Youth 200cc First Division Main Event for three laps, but suffered an engine failure on the final lap which handed the victory to Broc Nicol. Dillon Ruml finished second, Dalton Leedy was third, and Varner was credited with fourth.

Sebastian Palmese led the Youth 200cc Second Division Main Event through the first corner, but Shea Bendykowski took over the lead and never looked back. Bendykowski earned his second straight victory, Palmese hung on to second, Gino Scopellite finished third, and Michael Wells was fourth.

Alyssa Smith earned a very popular victory with a wire-to-wire Pee Wee Main Event win. Dylan Smith finished second, Dominic Laney was third, Tristan Britt finished fourth, Luke Whitcomb was fifth, and Walker Calvo finished sixth.

The Grand Marshall for Fan Appreciation Night was two-time World Champion Bruce Penhall who signed autographs for fans. Next week's event at Industry Speedway is the 50cc Grand Arena Championship.
