God, its been a long time since we've been able to race. I don't
remember when we've had so much rain. But it was a beautiful evening
tonight for the "Return of Batman" Don Foster.
- Petz was first into the corner, but Johansen went underneath him in
turn two. Johansen went wide a little later but was able to pull it
back in before Petz caught up. Kern took first in the second race
with some fancy footwork, as he tried to grind off his left foot a
couple of weeks ago and it hasn’t healed yet. Looked like he was
doing a Speedway Jig. Litt, Ball and Pieper were riding close in
race three, but Ball began having bike problems and pulled out.
Litt took the win.
- Foster slid under Harrington in turn three and Litt took the finish
with only one wheel on the ground. Ball glided through race two with
Johansen trying to catch up. Pieper peeled through the third race on
his new laydown and Kern had a difficult time keeping his bike from
flying in the air.
- Ball and Kern battled out race one. Ball got the gate, but Kern was
first in the corner. They were side by side for most of lap two until
Kern managed to pop ahead for the win. Litt did another wheelie as he
won race two. Pieper took race three effortlessly.
- Johansen ate dirt in the first and hobbled off the track with a bruised
butt. Litt won the race. Foster sampled some fresher dirt in the
second, but was okay as Pieper took the win. Kern was first in race three.
