Auburn is still enjoying hot weather,
although the temperature last night seemed a bit cooler, probably around 80.
The track was less dusty than last week, but a lot of riders complained
about ruts. A hole going into turn 3 caught a number of them by surprise.

Bart Bast and Chris Kerr took the gate but came together in turn one, with
Chris falling. Bobby Hedden avoided him and Chad Felicio hit his bike, but
Chris got up unscathed, expecting a restart. It did not happen. Bart kept
the lead with Bobby close behind.. Scratch

Tommy Hedden and Bryan Yarrow had a good race, with Bryan on the outside. On
the last corner Bryan made a final attempt to ride round the outside, went
wide, letting Greg and Matt through.

A very well ridden race by TJ Fowler. For the last 3 laps he had Bart in his
tail, waiting for him to make a mistake, which didn't happen. TJ has had an
outstanding first season. Moving from the front of division 2 to the 40 yard
line in one season must be a record. He is certainly the hottest new
prospect in Northern California.e
