Well Golden Racing ended up having a pretty good night on Saturday July 25, 2020. I won my first two heats then started having some bike issues with the vintage upright I was racing, in the third heat and then it basically took me out in the main. I got the jump on the start but ended the night in the pits with a DNF. Due to what we now know was a stator wire issue. Guest rider Aaron Fox ended up winning the night on a surface like he had never seen before in his life. He described it as the most difficult track ever. Congrats to him on that. Pat Litt finished 2nd with a super strong ride in the main after some early struggles in the night. Redmond Bohannon had a strong night and finished 3rd. While Sara Cords rounded out the night for Golden Racing with a 4th, and some of the most entertaining rides of the night. With the closing of one track another will open. Triangle Motorcycle Club Sport Center (1927-2020) located in Harpster, Ohio.

This track will be adding speedway to their events in 2020. The schedule is posted now. Further information will be provided as we go.

Mid America Speedway

Mid-America Motorcycle Speedway:
Unfortunately, the rumors are true that we have had to shut Mid-America. The biggest reason, was that the revenue was simply not there to keep it going, and I could not justify putting more money into the program. We had a great 12 year run, met a lot of great people and have a ton of great memories. (Jim Terchila, October 22, 2019.)
