My very first race I was so nervous that I popped the clutch and stayed on it, until this guy ran out onto the track swinging a checkered flag at me... and I realized that I won. I had to go around and ask the other guys if I did something wrong because I had never raced before, and I thought I had scared them somehow because of my inexperience. They said, "NO, you did good!" So, I write that one up to pure adrenaline and luck.
Very special thanks to the late Bud Ormisston for all of his support and encouragement, his son Scott Ormisston, and all of my other speedway friends- we're all like a family and I am proud to be a part of it.
I'd like to send out a special thanks to my dad Ron Sr. and my sisters Angie and Grace for all of their help in getting me out to the track to practice this year. Due to some personal responsibilities, I had to miss a few races but I'm very anxious to get back at it!!!!!!!!!!
